CHERISH

Cherish is a ministry to young girls from the local community, many of whom come from poor or difficult homes. Doreen Muntemba runs this ministry, and her aim is to help girls develop a personal relationship with God. She believes that only by knowing God personally can the young ladies develop a balanced self esteem and begin to value themselves as God does. They meet every Saturday afternoon and the girls enjoy coming to the YWAM base. Sometimes they have discussions or watch educational movies which tell stories related to the challenges the girls face.
